TV Series: Scorpion

The first thing that I noticed when I was watching the first episode was the syntax  </scorpion>. The geek in me smiled because in the world of IT, who wouldn't recognize this?

Anyway, this new series from CBS  is loosely based on the life of the self-proclaimed genius and computer expert Walter O'Brien. The story evolves on the group of genius Walter have formed to act as the last line of defense against the complicated threats of the modern world. That pilot episode hooked me up immediately with having problems with the aviation system that if not resolved, then 250 commercial planes would crash. Interesting isn't it.

Here's the trailer. I hope you would like it too..

LSS: Regina Spektor

It has been a while since I last shared a song in this site. Work has been eating my creative juices and my time lately thus having no time at all to even listen to a soothing song. But even if I didn't have time to put on my headphones and turn on my Ipod, I have been humming two classic songs of Regina Spektor. At no particular reason, I have been singing these two songs quite often these past few weeks.

Let these songs capture your soul and let her beautiful voice serenade you.

When In Singapore: Sentosa Boardwalk

Exploring an unknown territory is best done by walking. I think this is the honest way of appreciating a place. One will get the chance to experience not only the beauty, but also the ruggedness of a place: its greens, its blues, its towering structures as well as its imperfections. Every dried leaf, every broken stem, every little shell speak what one can get out of the place. And Sentosa, an island, is not different. Take a step back from the monorail or cable car, and go to the island via the Sentosa Boardwalk.

From the main island of Singapore, take the Boardwalk for just a dollar (sometimes, free during weekends until Jan 2015) to reach Sentosa. In this way, you can take your #selfie or #groupie with the gigantic SENTOSA which you will surely miss if you take the monorail or the cable car. Anyway, once inside, you can take the monorail and trams whenever you need for free.

So, what are you waiting for? If you are planning a visit to the island full of excitement and fun which is Sentosa, get your feet ready for it. Don't worry, most of the walking is not from Boardwalk, but from touring the whole island.Definitely, a leg workout for the week.

When In Singapore: Iced Lemon Tea

Every time I decide to cut down on my sugar intake, that's when I would be craving for a glass of Ice cold Lemon Tea. And nothing can compare to how Singaporeans do it. I think I can say that I have tasted the best Iced Lemon Tea in this country. And you do not need to go to fancy restaurants to taste a good one. Even in the nearest Kopitiam, you will get this oh-so-good drink for as low as a dollar and fifty. So if you intend to visit Singapore, stay away from the canned sodas and try this goodness. It's safe, it's sinful yet it's delicious.

And if you really want to take with you this drink back home, then I can recommend Seasons Iced Lemon Tea. It's the best for the canned version but not as yummy as the ones auntie is making for you.
