That roasted chicken partnered with Hainanese rice… Oh it’s
definitely a must-try when visiting this country. I still remember having this
food as the number one food on my must-try food list when I was still a tourist. I guess
this meal contributed the most to the five pounds I usually gain whenever I
visit this country. Being a chicken lover, I could easily devour a whole
chicken partnered with that perfect chili sauce and voila, couple of pounds has
been added and I don’t mind at least a bit. And that’s because, I so freaking
love the dish. I need to master making the hainanese rice and probably have to
know the perfect seasoning for the rotisserie then I have my own version of the
Hainanese Chicken Rice Meal – I can probably name it as Chicken Rice a-la “insert
my real name here”.
