Book: Maybe Someday

I have at least an hour to spend in hopping trains everyday to go to office. One hour is pretty much a long time to spend just people-watching, or if I get the chance to sit then I sleep (which this option comes twice a month). So I have developed a new hobby to make use of this one hour wisely - it's reading novels, chic literature and romance in particular. I always joke about that since I don't have a love life then these books make me feel the tingles. HAHA.

So right now, I am going to share with you about the book I have recently finished. This is from one of my favorite authors - Colleen Hoover. The title of the book is Maybe Someday.

Maybe Someday is about two people who met each other in a very unusual way - thru their balconies and thru their passion with music. However, their friendship and attraction are tested in the time their hearts belong to other people in their lives - one with a very good relationship, and the other a very bad betrayal. Question is, how can these two people whose hearts are disturbed and/or belong to other fight with how gravity pull them together? And will they ever give in with their feelings especially they share the same passion? You should probably need to read this book to know the answer.

At twenty-two years old, aspiring musician Sydney Blake has a great life: She’s in college, working a steady job, in love with her wonderful boyfriend, Hunter, and rooming with her good friend, Tori. But everything changes when she discovers Hunter cheating on her with Tori—and she is left trying to decide what to do next.

Sydney becomes captivated by her mysterious neighbor, Ridge Lawson. She can’t take her eyes off him or stop listening to the daily guitar playing he does out on his balcony. She can feel the harmony and vibrations in his music. And there’s something about Sydney that Ridge can’t ignore, either: He seems to have finally found his muse. When their inevitable encounter happens, they soon find themselves needing each other in more ways than one…

Also, I have told you that this book centers with their passion in music. And the exciting part is most of the lyrics written on the story line are real songs. Imagine, literally hearing those magical lyrics - it makes the story really interesting and heart warming. Colleen Hoover is such a good author to ever think about this brilliant idea. Here's one of the songs in the book, hope you enjoy it.
